One-day epic mountain bike rides
Calling all trail centre riders!
Get yourselves out of the trailhead cafe and head for the real mountains on one of our guided epics. We visit some of the top mountain biking regions and show you that there is life after groomed singletrack!
In the company of our guides we aim to take you to the limit and offer you the chance to test yourself against some of the most challenging terrain in the country. There's no red runs or black runs and definitely no easy fire road to coast along!
All of these rides are called 'epics' for a reason and that is because the distance, the overall altitude gained and the technicality of some of the riding make them suitable for experienced riders only. Some may involve 'hike-a-bike' and the wearing of body armour for some of the descents is strongly recommended.

Our one day epic mountain bike rides
See below for more details on our one day epic mountain bike rides.
Lying between Sheffield and Manchester and just south of Kinder Scout this is challenging mountain biking country in the heart of the Peak District National Park. Parts of the area are remote and exposed. Weather conditions can change rapidly; so be prepared.
The route is physically demanding with difficult sections.
|THE NAN BIELD PASS
This one is a high mountain adventure, with the toughest and longest carrying section of any of our routes. For the hardy minority who like to push their limits, the rewards include some of the best descents and scenery in the lakes.
| TOUR OF CONISTON
33 miles around the 'Old Man' taking in Walna Scar, Grizedale Forest and the Dunnerdale Fells. On a clear day there's no more beautiful place in the UK than the Lake District, and no more a rewarding route than this one!
